Basically, over the years, we consumers have been brain washed by the footwear retailers to buy shoes which are stylish and fashionable. Nowhere in any of the millions of retail footwear ads run every year will you find any mention of comfort. It is always style and fashion. Style and fashion sells shoes. Everyone that reads this has at least one pair, and probable more, of shoes in their closet that “look great” and that is why we bought them, but these great looking shoes are never worn simple because they hurt your feet. |
